The Tee Shirt pattern- Merchant Mills
The T shirt is probably the world’s most popular garment, presented here as a smart, contemporary evolution of a wardrobe staple. Our Tee Shirt is a smart combination of a woven fabric with a stretch rib neck, a breast pocket and optional rolled up sleeves.
This is a multi-size paper pattern including sizes 36 – 46. All seam allowances are 1.5cm except for the neck which is 1cm, these are included and marked on the pattern.
Suggested Fabrics:
Laundered linen, linen blends, Tencel, Tencel/linen, denim, cotton chambray, Indian handweaves, fine wool, needlecord.
Elwen wears the Tee in Frontier Forest, and the dress version in Calamity Blue. There is a lengthen line on the pattern if you would like to extend it into a dress. We extended ours by 40cm, meaning we needed 80cm more fabric. We would suggest going for an oversized fit if making the dress as the side seams are completely straight.
