Black is a dark, muted shade. It is washed back, so isn't clean and vividly dark. The sand wash finish provides some added texture with subtle lighter shades showing throughout the piece. Visually, the weave is a flat, even structure.

Our Tencel is buttery and silky smooth with a fluid drape that is heavier than cotton but light when worn. The fabric is smooth with a subtle sheen giving it a high-end finish for a washed-back, sleek look. It is highly breathable, wicking moisture faster than cotton.

Tencel is a high-quality, eco-friendly fabric made from the pulp of trees, most commonly eucalyptus. To make it, wood is ground into a pulp and dissolved into a liquid that is then pushed through tiny holes to create soft, silk-like fibers. Tencel is popular because it feels exceptionally soft, breathes better than cotton, and is great at pulling moisture away from your skin. Typical production of Tencel, is made in a "closed-loop" system that recycles over 99% of the water and solvents used during production, preventing waste from entering the environment.
