Kesta Dress pattern- Paper Cloth cut

A relaxed drawstring-waist dress with two sleeve length and cuff options. Perfect for summer in light cottons, drapey rayons and linens.

Choose between a split yoke on bias to highlight your stripe fabric or pattern, or classic full yoke. Hem and sleeve lengths are easily adjusted at hem level. With patch pockets and a centre front placket for snaps or buttons, you have plenty of opportunity to colour block!

Sewing level is advanced beginners with a challenging centre front placket (includes full diagrams to help you).

Fabric Choice

This design is for woven fabrics with a stable weave such as light to medium weight linen or cotton. In the images I have used a lightweight cotton /Tencel in Peach, a medium weight Linen in green and a cotton drill in blue and white stripe. Thicker fabric can be used but finishing may need to change to allow for the thickness.
